Thanks to our Mayor, council and the commission members our new synthetic field that is under construction will now be expanded to include 15 yd end zones with the turf being upgraded to the same as the world's best play on!
The good news is we are able to expand the field size now during construction rather than waiting to do it at a later date, which would have been too expensive, if and when allowed, and also inconvenient to other user groups. Our clubs contribution to this expansion is $44,000.00, about 25% of the cost to do it later. The project also includes a new announcer's tower similar to our present tower. Completion date is six weeks from now if the weather permits.
Our children will be playing on the same high quality synthetic field that the NFL, CFL and university teams play on. The new field will be our home field for all home games and practices.
You will see the difference when you come to practice.
